Scarlet Rift's design is similar to the HQ (X-394) in size and importance, serving as both a research branch and W Corp’s partner facility.

It located under a spot in the District 23’s Backstreets: infamous throughout the City, with its Backstreets being widely considered one of the most dangerous places to live in with cannibalistic food culture, turf wars between Syndicates.

And so, the Branch acts as the savior of the District itself: a place where citizens of the district can “ascend” into stable employment with guaranteed survival by offering its employees free safe meals.

The facility treats time as a weapon. Work rotations are fast, suppression squads mobilize within seconds, and employees are measured by how quickly they can kill, move, or decide.

Employee Life at Scarlet Rift Branch

Suppression Protocol: Scarlet Rift has one of the highest suppression rates among all branches. With more welfare comes higher expectations and punishment is swifter, “Hesitation is death. Speed is salvation.” Scarlet Rift focuses on rapid response and suppression efficiency.

Every employee is trained with Repression work purposely conditioned for Justice stats. (Both Clerks and agents alike are expected to suppress breaches.)

Movement Speed and Attack Speed reflexes are drilled until hesitation becomes impossible. Scarlet Rift is the only branch where every worker doubles as security staff, not just paper-working staff.
